PATTERN NOTES
This stole is worked from the center out. Work begins on a 40″ circular needle. When there are too many stitches to fit comfortably on the needle, use the 2 circular method.
Use separate lengths of C for each set of 2 corner stitches. Increases are made on either side of the 4 corner stitches by casting on a stitch using the backward loop method. This pattern is both written and charted.
The Herringbone Shawl is available as part of e-book Contrarian Shawls 2, and as an individual pattern through Ravelry.
