Streetlight
Designed by Rachel Brockman
Color blocking is always a fun way to give life to an otherwise simple hat. We’ve chosen colors that remind us of colorful streetlights reflecting off the road on a rainy evening, but you can choose whatever colors sing to you. Sized for babies to adults, this hat makes an excellent gift! It’s a perfect introduction to knitting small circumferences in the round, incorporating shaping into your knitting, and playing with delightful pom poms.

PATTERN NOTES
This hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. The brim is worked in a stretchy K1, P1 Rib using color A. The body of the hat is worked in Stockinette stitch using color B. Finally, a pom pom is made using color C and attached to the top of the hat.
Please note that the Baby, Toddler, and Child sizes require double-pointed needles or your preferred needle for knitting small circumferences throughout the pattern. The Adult Small, Medium, and Large sizes will begin with 16” circular needles and switch to needles appropriate for small circumferences during the crown shaping, when stitches no longer fit
comfortably on the circular needle.
Streetlight is available as part of e-book Joyful Stitches, and as an individual pattern through Ravelry.
