PATTERN NOTES
Pipsqueak: the perfect pair. This candy-striped crochet cardigan with bold black stripes has the most charming companion: a little mouse to match! We have no doubt that the youngster lucky enough to have this set will never want to take the cardigan off or put little Pipsqueak down.
This cardigan is also a joy to create. Watching the stripes repeat is addictive, and the spike stitch details add just the right amount of balance to this colorful piece. Plus, with 26 colors of Bella Cash to choose from, the color combinations seem endless. The best thing about Bella Cash – it’s easy to wear and to care for.
The cardigan begins with a hem that is worked sideways. Body stitches are worked along the side of the hem and the body is crocheted upward. Break contrast colors after each stripe. Keep the main color attached throughout.
The mouse is worked in the round in joined rows.
