The new vegan air is a material obtained by braiding the fibers of our vegan wool. The result is a functional acrylic thread that is very soft to the touch and even more lightweight that our Cotton Air! 

It’s perfect for crocheting or knitting any kind of accessories, clothing and decorative projects for your home. Add it into your weaving loom or macrame-weaving if you want to play with different yarn textures. 

It is made 100% of Dralon fiber, an acrylic fiber mostly used for babies and small kids clothes because is extremely soft and gentle on the skin, it keeps out germs, mites and moths. The most sensitive skin will tolerate this material very well because of its hypoallergenic properties. 

Vegan air has a long durability, highly resistant to stains and wear and which will not stretch or shrink. It is also easy to clean: washing at 30° Celsius is sufficient, no dry-cleaning is necessary. It also dries very quickly!

Dralon is a eco-friendly fiber because in its production the water consumption and the CO2 emission is lower than in other fibers. That’s a great choice to become a more environmentally conscious maker! 

It complies with the regulations of Standard 100 of Oeko-Tex product class I. In our vegan air, no harmful or toxic substances have been applied for its production, complying with the requirements of the OEKO-TEX® certification.  Certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX(R). Certificate Number: 2003AN0084 AITEX.
